Dr. Alex Shakar

Alex Shakar's novel Luminarium won the 2011 Los Angeles Book Prize in Fiction and was named a Washington Post Notable Book and a NY Times Editor's Choice. His novel The Savage Girl was a NY Times Notable Book. His story collection City In Love won the FC2 National Fiction Competition.
