Ann Plicque

Spring 2017 Session

Ann Plicque is a 2010 MFA honor graduate of the University of New Orleans Creative Writing Workshop. She’s won the Vassar Miller and Andrea Saunders Gereighty poetry prizes. Ann is a Body Pump coach who believes a healthy body keeps the mind sharp. She is a strategy consultant with the Energy Wise Alliance, a program that encourages energy conservation and helps people insulate homes. She has written screenplays and has completed a poetry manuscript. She holds a BA in journalism and hopes to earn a PhD in Creative Writing in poetry and linguistics. Ann is a New Orleanian and her home is her poetry is her home.
