Lauren D. Woods lives in Arlington, Virginia with her two kids and a hamster. She writes whenever she can find the time. Originally from the Dallas area, she has worked in foreign policy throughout her career and lived in Austin, New York, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, and now northern Virginia. Her work appears in Lit Hub, Hobart, The Offing, The Antioch Review, The Writer, Washington Post, and elsewhere. She's currently working on a flash fiction collection and a young adult novel.
