Jason Whitesitt

As soon as he could, Jason Whitesitt traded the mountains of North Idaho for the wilds of academia. He holds an MA in English literature from the University of Oregon and is a professor of English and humanities at Yavapai College. When not trying desperately to get back into the mountains, he enjoys teaching first-generation students, reading Anglo-Saxon poetry by the fire, and globetrotting with his wife and three boys. He writes characters who defy easy categorization, focusing on issues of chosen family, fatherhood, and complex masculinities. He lives in Sedona, Arizona.
